Music and Art: A Fusion of Sound, Creativity, and Experimentation

Welcome to my music and art page, where I showcase my creative journey through both tangible and experimental expressions. I begin with my handcrafted guitars, each one a testament to my passion for craftsmanship. These instruments have been carefully designed and built by me, with attention to detail and a deep love for the art of music. Attached to this page, you’ll find photos and videos of these guitars in action, capturing both their beauty and their unique sound.

Each guitar I have built carries a voice not just in sound, but in history. Crafted from the aged wood beams of a 200-year-old building, these instruments are more than just musical tool, they are vessels of memory, resonating with the echoes of time itself. It’s often said, if walls could speak, but in this case, they do, transformed into instruments that sing the stories of centuries past. Every note played is a whisper from the wood’s long-forgotten past, shaped by the hands of time before ever touching mine. These guitars are not just built; they are reborn, carrying the weight of history with every chord.

In addition to the guitars, my music takes an experimental turn. I have composed pieces that explore anomalous properties… songs that are more than just melodies but are designed to push the boundaries of what music can be. Some of these compositions fall under the category of “cognito hazards,” which I must caution you about.

What is a Cognito Hazard?

A cognito-hazard refers to a mental or psychological danger embedded in certain stimuli—be it music, images, or other forms of media—that can induce significant distress or discomfort. While many cognito hazards are considered highly dangerous, my songs are a controlled exploration of this phenomenon. They are inspired by the magical essence within all of us and delve into the fascinating link between mind and matter, particularly in the realm of computer technology.

Though some of these tracks may invoke feelings of unease or disorientation, they are not meant to harm. Instead, they are designed to engage with the deeper layers of the mind, challenging your perceptions and expanding your understanding of reality. While the experience may be intense, I believe that the listener will ultimately emerge stronger and more attuned to the vast, interconnected world we live in. Proceed with caution, and enjoy the journey into the unknown.

For a deeper dive into the interplay between cognitive phenomena, spiritual symbolism, and the transformative power of magick, I invite you to explore my dedicated magick page. There, you’ll find extensive discussions and further insights into how ancient wisdom informs modern explorations of the mind and how these ideas can enhance our understanding of phenomena like cognito-hazards.

Exploring Vaporwave: The Sound of Nostalgia and Surrealism

Vaporwave is a genre that exists at the crossroads of music, art, and digital culture. Emerging in the early 2010s, it is characterized by heavily slowed-down and distorted samples of 80s and 90s pop, jazz, and corporate music, often layered with dreamy, nostalgic, and sometimes unsettling effects. The genre evokes a surreal atmosphere, capturing the feeling of fragmented memories, digital decay, and a world suspended between past and future.

Beyond its sound, vaporwave is also an aesthetic movement, one deeply influenced by early internet culture, retro-futurism, and consumerism. The visual style includes neon-lit cityscapes, VHS distortions, Greek statues, and pixelated computer graphics reminiscent of Windows 95 interfaces. This blend of old and new creates an uncanny sense of nostalgia for a past that never truly existed.

My experimental music draws inspiration from vaporwave’s ability to manipulate perception and emotion. By bending sound, space, and time, I aim to push the listener beyond the boundaries of traditional music and into a more immersive experience, one that connects with deeper, hidden layers of consciousness.
